ZTE has unveiled the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D II, the second generation of its 3D tablet, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. This tablet combines glasses-free 3D, 5G, and AI assistance, making it a powerhouse of technology advancements.
The ZTE Nubia Pad 3D II has made significant improvements over its predecessor, especially in the glasses-free 3D display. It offers an 80% increase in resolution for 3D images and a 100% increase in 3D brightness, providing a clearer and more immersive 3D experience.
In addition to native 3D content, the Pad 3D II features a conversion process that can transform 2D content into 3D seamlessly through Neovision 3D Anytime, using AI neural network technology.
AI plays a pivotal role in the tablet, with an AI-powered eye-tracking engine ensuring natural alignment of 3D images based on the user’s gaze. The device boasts an 86-degree viewing angle for immersive 3D viewing from various positions.
The tablet sports a large 12.1-inch display with a high resolution of 2650 x 1600 and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It is complemented by four speakers with DTS:X Ultra 3D effects for an immersive audio experience.
The dual-lens camera, known as the “Super Biomimetic Eye,” utilizes AI for enhanced 3D imaging and video recording. It supports Miracast technology and a unique AI 3D multi-screen collaboration mode for seamless content sharing across ZTE devices.
Powering these advanced features is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 512GB of storage and a large 10,000mAh battery with 66-watt fast charging support.
While the release date and price are yet to be announced, the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D II is expected to be a premium device with cutting-edge technology likely to be priced above $1,000. Despite this, the tablet promises a suite of innovative features that make it a compelling option in the tablet market.
