Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev has officially left OG after being moved to the inactive roster just over two weeks ago. In an announcement today, it was revealed that Yuragi will now be playing with Ukrainian organization NaVi.
NaVi has also welcomed Mongolian midlaner Sukhbat “sanctity-” Otgondavaa to their roster. As a result, Maxim “shigetsu” Popadinec and Maksym “mellojul” Pnev have been moved to NaVi’s inactive roster.
What’s in store for NaVi?
Having been one of the oldest organizations in Dota, NaVi has a storied history, including winning the first International. However, they have struggled to maintain top-tier tournament presence lately, often facing stiff competition from teams like Team Spirit and Virtus.Pro for EEU qualifying spots.
Despite early struggles this year in qualifying for major events, the upcoming Elite League qualifiers and new PGL Dota tournaments offer hope for NaVi fans to see more of their favorite team and the new roster in action.
OG’s vacant spot
After a promising performance at DreamLeague season 22, there is speculation that Timado may become a permanent member of OG’s lineup. The team’s chemistry seemed to click with Timado’s playstyle, resulting in a more cohesive performance at DreamLeague than in recent months.
OG’s roster has seen significant changes since the introduction of OG 2.0, with BZM being the sole remaining member. Stability has been a key factor in the success of teams like Gaming Gladiators and two-time TI champions Team Spirit. Fans are hopeful that this latest roster adjustment will bring the stability needed for future success.
