October is Call of Duty season for Xbox and Activision, with exciting offerings in the second half of the month and into November. The upcoming release of Xbox Game Pass’ latest wave is all about Activision Blizzard titles.
On October 25, Call of Duty fans can rejoice as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 becomes available on cloud, console, and PC for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Additionally, Modern Warfare 3 will be joining Xbox Cloud Gaming on the same day, along with Call of Duty Warzone.
Aside from the standard Call of Duty gameplay elements, Black Ops 6 introduces the new movement system called Omnimovement, providing players with increased agility in all directions. The game will also feature the return of the Prestige system for progression and a fully customizable HUD.
Activision announced that preloading for the game will begin on October 21 at 9 a.m. PT, with a PC rollout from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. PT.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also receive StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection on PC on November 5. These titles offer upgraded single-player campaigns with 4K and widescreen support, enhancing the gaming experience for players.
