Fortnitemares has arrived, introducing new items to the loot pool along with new characters on the map. One of the most exciting additions is Mephisto, Marvel’s interpretation of the devil, making an appearance on the Battle Royale map. As the map transforms into Halloween-themed versions of various points of interest, players may wonder: where is Mephisto located in Fortnite?
Surprisingly, Mephisto can be found not in the new Halloween-themed points of interest, but in older locations on the map. Despite this, his presence has revitalized a previously overlooked landing spot in Fortnite. Where exactly can you find Mephisto in Fortnite, and what benefits does interacting with this character offer?
Where is Mephisto in Fortnite?
Mephisto has been integrated into the game with the latest update in Fortnite. Contrary to expectations, he is not situated within the Marvel points of interest or the recently added Halloween locations. Instead, Mephisto can be found in an older point of interest that has undergone modifications over the past two seasons.
You can now locate Mephisto in the Underworld, a fitting setting for the devil character. The POI features subtle alterations to accommodate his presence, such as the transformation of the green soul water into red. This is where Mephisto can be found in Fortnite.
His specific location within the POI is where Hades previously resided. Mephisto has now claimed this area and taken over the throne. The throne room is located at the back of the POI, inside the main hall of the largest building.
What Does Mephisto Do in Fortnite?
When you encounter Mephisto, you will have access to unique interactions with this NPC. He engages in special dialogue with certain Marvel skins, adding depth to the Fortnite lore this season. Additionally, you have the option to trade 20 HP in exchange for a random gun by selling your soul to Mephisto. Furthermore, you can trade 99 HP to revive your squad, a valuable feature for larger team-based games.
