Genshin Impact was released in 2020 and quickly became one of the most popular free games on PlayStation 5, mobile, and PC. However, Xbox fans were left out in the cold as the game did not include support for Microsoft’s console. Even subsequent games from HoYoverse like Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero also skipped Xbox. Despite no apparent exclusivity deal and the game being cross-platform, Xbox fans had little hope of experiencing this open-world gem on their systems. However, HoYoverse has now announced that Genshin Impact will finally be coming to Xbox.
Genshin Impact Xbox Release Date
During Opening Night Live 2024, it was announced that Genshin Impact will be coming to Xbox Series X/S on November 20. The game will be free to play with full cross-platform support, allowing players to transfer their characters seamlessly from PC, mobile, or PlayStation to Xbox.
Additionally, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have the option to play Genshin Impact via Cloud Gaming.
With four years of expansions, new characters, quests, and continents added, now is the ideal time to jump into Genshin Impact if you’ve been eagerly awaiting its arrival on Xbox.
You can add Genshin Impact to your wish list on the Xbox store now, and Game Pass members can preinstall the game to be ready for the November 20 release.
