Voldex, the game studio known for user-generated content-based games in Roblox, Fortnite Creative, and Minecraft, has announced its acquisition of Roblox’s Ultimate Football. This multi-million dollar deal, although undisclosed in exact terms, will add the game to Voldex’s portfolio alongside other UGC-based titles like Driving Empire and Dungeon Quest. The original creators of Ultimate Football, as well as the core team, will also be joining Voldex.
Ultimate Football is one of Roblox’s highest-grossing UGC games, having garnered over 150 million visits in just six months. With Voldex’s proven track record, the game is expected to undergo various enhancements and changes to further boost its popularity. For instance, Driving Empire witnessed an 80% increase in monthly active players after being acquired by Voldex.
