Some tech enthusiasts might cringe at the thought of combining a gaming PC with a coffee maker. However, the creative minds at Nerdforge, led by Martina, embarked on a daring project to integrate a coffee maker into a custom-built PC. The result? A fully functional PC that not only runs games but also brews coffee at the touch of a button.
Nerdforge, a YouTube channel run by the Norwegian duo Martina and Hansi, is known for its innovative projects, and this one is no exception. The idea of having a coffee maker inside a PC stemmed from the desire for convenience – no need to leave your desk to get a cup of joe.
The challenge was not only to get the PC to function but also to make the coffee maker work seamlessly. Instead of opting for a pod coffee maker, Martina had to innovate and 3D print custom parts to grind coffee beans and brew coffee within the confines of a PC case.
Once the coffee maker and grinder were integrated into the Corsair 1000D chassis, various sensors and an Arduino were added to control the brewing process with a single button. Safety measures, such as sensors to prevent brewing without a cup in place, were crucial to avoid any mishaps.

With the coffee maker operational, Martina focused on the PC’s aesthetics, incorporating stained wood panels, cozy LED lighting, and even a small plant for a homely touch. The hardware, featuring an Intel Core i7-14700K processor and Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti GPU, is housed in a modified Fractal Design North case for optimal functionality.
The end result is not only impressive performance-wise but also visually striking, resembling a high-end PC build. While its long-term reliability remains to be seen, this unique creation from Nerdforge is undoubtedly one of the most captivating PC projects to date.
