OnePlus has officially confirmed plans for its upcoming software overhaul based on Android 15. However, details about its next flagship device have been closely guarded. Leaks, on the other hand, have different intentions.
On the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, an image supposedly showing the OnePlus 13 has surfaced. The source of this leak is reliable (Digital Chat Station), adding credibility to the information.
In terms of design, the OnePlus 13 seems to maintain a similar look to its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, especially with the camera setup at the back. However, a new addition is a small metallic line connecting the camera bump to the right edge of the frame. An “H” logo above the line indicates Hasselblad camera tuning, a signature feature on OnePlus devices. The most significant change appears to be the flat metallic sides.
Previous OnePlus flagships had curved metallic frames for better ergonomics. The move to flat sides mirrors design choices of other major brands like Samsung and Apple, which some may find less comfortable to hold. However, the distinctive texture on the rear shell of the OnePlus 13, inspired by rocks or minerals, maintains a familiar matte finish similar to the OnePlus 12.

OnePlus has hinted at using natural materials like marble for phone design. The OnePlus 13 is expected to come in a black trim and a pearl-white color option, similar to the OnePlus 12, which received positive feedback for its design aesthetics.
Internally, the OnePlus 13 will feature three rear camera lenses and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset for enhanced performance. Rumors suggest additional features like localized refresh rate technology for the screen, a larger battery, and AI enhancements for the OxygenOS software experience.
Unfortunately, along with these upgrades, a price increase is expected with the OnePlus 13. The launch is slated for late October, with a Chinese market release followed by a global debut a few weeks later.
