ShiftCam has built a strong reputation for creating impressive vlogging and photography accessories for smartphones. The LensUltra kit, ProGrip, and SnapGrip are just a few examples of their successful products. Now, at IFA 2024, the company is unveiling a new line of accessories called SnapSeries.
These new accessories take full advantage of Apple’s MagSafe technology while also incorporating their own unique hardware innovations. The standout product in this series is the SnapGrip Pro, which includes support for Qi2 wireless charging.
The SnapGrip Pro boasts the ability to deliver 15W of wireless charging power to your smartphone, along with a battery that is 58% larger than its predecessor, the SnapGrip Classic. Available in Stone and Midnight color options, it features a USB-C port with 20W PD output and a Bluetooth-connected physical shutter button.
However, the most intriguing addition to the lineup is the SnapStudio light, a combination of a ring light with MagSafe functionality and a clever detachable base mount. It provides 440 lumens of light when connected to a phone, but can reach 600 lumens with a USB-C cable. Users can adjust the light intensity and color temperature as well.
Alongside the vlogging and mobile photography kits, ShiftCam is also releasing three new stands: SnapStand Mini (8-inch height), SnapStand Selfie (10-inch to 2.5 ft height range), and SnapStand Max (1.5 ft to 6 ft height range).
The SnapSeries accessories are designed for MagSafe-compatible phones, including the iPhone lineup. They also work with any phone that supports Qi2 charging, offering faster charging and magnetic position lock. For non-compatible devices, ShiftCam provides a magnetic ring accessory for attaching SnapSeries accessories.
