Square Enix has recently removed the mobile game Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road from the App Store and Google Play Store. Fans were surprised to find that the beloved Kingdom Hearts title was no longer available for download or search on the iOS and Google Play stores, with Square Enix choosing to remain silent on the matter.
Initially, the game’s official website still had links for downloads through the Google Play store banner. However, these links now lead to an error page stating “item not found”. Although the game is still playable, the situation has left fans feeling uneasy.
Of particular concern is the fact that the game ties directly into the storyline of Kingdom Hearts 3 and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 4. Key characters introduced in Union X, such as Strelitzia, play important roles in these future titles. The delisting makes it challenging for new players to access and understand crucial aspects of the story.
