The Collective Ace Group, a prominent game development and publishing hub, has recently acquired mobile game maker By Aliens, further expanding its global influence.
With the addition of By Aliens to its portfolio, alongside The Most Games and Odspeed Games, The Collective Ace Group is welcoming over 70 new team members, bringing its workforce to more than 250 experts in areas such as development, live ops, UA, QA, localization, ad monetization, and publishing. This strategic move is also expected to boost the group’s annual revenue by an estimated $15 million.
Diversifying the game catalog
Having collaborated with renowned names such as Riot Games, Epic, and Bethesda, studios under The Collective Ace Group have been involved in the development of over 2,000 games, including popular titles like Sonic Frontiers, Fortnite, Two Point Campus, and even the mobile version of Goat Simulator 3 released in late 2023.
On the other hand, By Aliens has showcased its prowess in mobile game publishing with hits like Chef Rescue, Road Warrior, and Starside Celebrity Island. Founded by the creators of Bid Wars, a successful casual gaming franchise with over 75 million players since its debut in 2015, By Aliens has a decade-long background in game development before venturing into publishing.
“Our decision to join forces with BA comes after a period of fruitful collaboration. The synergies unlocked within the group now present significant opportunities for scaling our operations and expanding into new markets,” commented Parth Das, Founder of The Collective Ace Group.
RenĂ© Retz, one of the co-founders of By Aliens, expressed his excitement about aligning with the group’s vision, emphasizing their shared values and commitment to global growth. He highlighted the group’s extensive reach, having already engaged with over 500 million players worldwide on PC, mobile, and console platforms.
The acquisition of By Aliens by The Collective Ace Group follows a recent trend in the industry, with Monumental acquiring Game Circus and its portfolio of 40 mobile titles just last month.
