Behaviour Interactive and Supermassive Games have announced that The Casting of Frank Stone, a narrative adventure game set within the Dead by Daylight universe, will be releasing on September 3.
The game’s launch date, September 3, precedes the Halloween holiday, allowing players to start their spooky season earlier with this thrilling game. The release date was revealed in a new trailer that also introduces a movie called Murder Mill, which plays a significant role in The Casting of Frank Stone’s storyline. Players will make choices for a group of friends shooting a horror film in an abandoned steel mill, where they encounter real supernatural events that impact the movie’s narrative. With an intriguing premise, fans hope that The Casting of Frank Stone will match the quality of Supermassive’s Until Dawn and The Quarry.
For fans of Dead by Daylight who prefer the multiplayer experience, exciting updates are on the way. Lara Croft is now a playable survivor in Dead by Daylight, allowing players to face off against supernatural killers with the iconic video game heroine. Additionally, the highly anticipated 2v8 mode will be available as a limited-time event in Dead by Daylight between July 25 and August 8.
The Casting of Frank Stone will be launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on September 3. Dead by Daylight is available on these platforms as well as PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
