Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is full of formidable enemies that you must defeat, so being well-prepared is crucial for facing them. As you progress through your adventure, you will constantly upgrade your equipment to equip better gear. In addition to weapons and bangles, each character can equip a single accessory to enhance their abilities in battle. It is advisable to change these accessories periodically depending on the upcoming battles.
While the best accessory for each character will depend on their role and build in the party, there are some generally useful accessories that can make battles easier and more efficient.
Keep in mind that many of the accessories mentioned below are not accessible until later in the game, so we have included their lower-tier alternatives that you should keep until you can upgrade.
Safety Bit
The Safety Bit is an incredibly valuable accessory that provides immunity to some of the most harmful status effects in the game such as Instant Death, Stone, and Petrify. Equipping this accessory to one or two characters before battles against enemies that inflict these status effects can significantly ease your gameplay.
Full-Throttle Wristguards
The Full-Throttle Wristguards are ideal for characters focusing on physical damage, offering a 10% strength boost and an additional 500 HP to help them engage in close combat. If you haven’t reached the point where you can acquire this accessory, consider using Power Wristguards or Hi-Power Wristguards in the meantime.
Riot Vest
The Riot Vest provides a 10% vitality increase along with 500 extra HP, making it a great choice for tanky characters who absorb damage while other party members deal damage. While waiting to unlock this higher-tier accessory, you can use a Bulletproof Vest or Survival Vest as substitutes.
Sorcerer’s Earrings
Sorcerer’s Earrings are perfect for characters specializing in magic damage, offering a significant 10% increase in magic power and an extra 6 MP. If you haven’t obtained this late-game accessory yet, consider using Earrings or Platinum Earrings in the meantime.
Healing Materia Earrings
Healing Materia Earrings allow you to cast Cure, Cura, and Curaga without using a materia slot for Healing materia. This can be beneficial for your primary healer/buffer character, especially if their materia slots are limited or occupied by other essential materia.
Revival Earrings
Revival Earrings grant a character one use of Auto-Life, automatically reviving them upon death. However, the accessory breaks after one use, so it’s best reserved for challenging encounters where enemies use abilities like Doom.
