Fortnite has announced a new partnership with the iconic video game brand Tetris, adding another exciting collaboration to their repertoire. The partnership will feature a Fortnite Creative map created by playSTUDIOS, the developer behind the mobile app for Tetris on iOS and Android.
Epic Games, the team behind Fortnite, is no stranger to collaborations with other video game brands. They have worked with a variety of games in the past, including Among Us, Tomb Raider, and God of War. These collaborations have been integrated into Creative islands within Fortnite, offering unique gaming experiences for players.

Tetris Color Climb! tournament series in Fortnite Creative to reward $10,000
In this latest collaboration, players can expect a unique gaming experience inspired by Tetris. The Color Climb! map will challenge players to climb Tetriminos to avoid falling, similar to the popular Only Up maps created in Unreal Editor. Cherry Pick Talent is also involved in the collaboration, adding to the excitement. Players can look forward to encountering Easter eggs and references to the beloved Tetris franchise.
Tournaments will be held with a $10,000 prize pool up for grabs. Players can participate through the mobile Tetris app, competing against streamers and content creators for a chance to win.

playSTUDIOS will be hosting tournaments on multiple dates, including September 17, 25, 28, and October 2. In addition to the Color Climb! tournaments, real-world prizes will be offered through the Tetris app from September 12 to October 4.
Players can use in-game currency to enter for a chance to win prizes such as a PlayStation Gift Card, a Nike shopping spree, and a vacation to Las Vegas with tickets to Friday Frags Fortnite at the HyperX eSports Arena. The Fortnite x Tetris collaboration is now live and will run until October 4th.
