Despite having only five playoff wins against Gaimin in the last two years, Team Liquid had never defeated them in a grand final. However, they took a significant step towards changing that narrative by outplayng GG in a decisive best-of-three series.

In Game One, Gaimin’s bold draft included Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov picking Clinkz for himself.
