TCL is introducing a range of devices at IFA 2024 that prioritize the well-being of your eyes over simply boasting the latest flagship features. Among the new releases are the TAB 11 Gen 2 tablet and a pair of TCL 50 NXTPAPER series phones, offering a combination of affordability, sleek design, and visual comfort.
One of the standout features is the NXTPAPER display technology, which provides a paper-like viewing experience. Additionally, TCL has included the NXTPAPER Key on its phones, allowing users to switch the screen to an e-ink format with a single click, reducing eye strain and extending battery life.
Both phones share similar specifications, including a 6.8-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate, NXTPAPER tech, and a fingerprint-resistant coating. They are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor and come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage, with support for microSD cards up to 2TB.
The camera setup includes a 108MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro lenses. The Pro model features a 32MP selfie camera, while the standard version offers an 8MP front camera.
Additionally, TCL has expanded its tablet lineup with the Tab 11 Gen 2, featuring NXTVISION display technology for enhanced clarity and color accuracy. The tablet is powered by the Helio G80 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and support for up to 1TB microSD cards.
With prices set at €199 for the tablet, €299 for the TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER phone, and €229 for the standard version, TCL is targeting the Asian-Pacific, Latin American, and European markets initially.
