Ubisoft recently unveiled the post-launch roadmap for the highly-anticipated Star Wars Outlaws in a detailed blog post, outlining two upcoming paid story packs set to enrich the game world.
The first story pack, Wild Card, is scheduled for release in fall 2024. It will see the main protagonist Kay Vess going undercover at a “high-stakes Sabacc tournament” where she crosses paths with the iconic Lando Calrissian. The second story pack, slated for spring 2025, is named A Pirate’s Fortune and will introduce the infamous pirate king Hondo Ohnaka, aiming to settle old vendettas.
In addition to the story packs, Ubisoft also shared details about two cosmetic bundles exclusively for Season Pass owners, featuring outfits for Kay and her loyal companion Nix, as well as cosmetics for Kay’s speeder and ship.
Both Wild Card and A Pirate’s Fortune will be free for Season Pass holders but will also be available for individual purchase.
The post also confirmed that the exclusive Jabba’s Gambit mission will be included in the main game, with Season Pass owners gaining access to this unique mission involving Jabba the Hutt and his syndicate. This mission is anticipated to offer additional gameplay experiences without significantly impacting the main story.
Set in the expansive world between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Outlaws is an open-world sci-fi action RPG set to launch on August 30 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Season Pass, available with the Gold or Ultimate edition, offers exclusive bonuses and early access options.
While the pricing for individual story packs remains undisclosed, players can opt for the Gold edition at $110 or the Ultimate edition at $130, which includes additional cosmetic bundles and a digital art book. An alternative option is to access the Ultimate edition through a Ubisoft+ Premium subscription at $18 per month.
