According to Snapchat, more than 55,000 Snaps are created every second on average, and with this integration, capturing moments in real-time becomes easier.
To set up the integration, simply tap and hold your iPhone’s lock screen, choose the “Customize” option, and tap “Lock Screen.” Then, remove the default options at the bottom of the screen and click the “plus” sign to add the Snapchat Camera.
Additionally, you can customize the Camera Control button on iPhone 16 to quickly open Snapchat and capture moments with just one click.
These updates are a part of Snapchat’s utilization of new iPhone features, such as customizable lock screen and home screen widgets in iOS 16, and the ability to customize the Action button for instant access to the Snapchat app in iPhone 15.
In other news, Snapchat has officially launched its new Footsteps feature, previously only available to Snapchat+ subscribers. This feature uses Snap Map to show your world exploration and travel history.
Snapchat is also rolling out more stickers and Halloween-themed AI lenses for users to enjoy.
