Following the departure of EU representatives from Worlds, LEC teams are already making moves in the offseason. SK Gaming has announced a renewed contract with their jungler, Isma, for the upcoming 2025 season.
Isma Commits to SK Gaming After Considering Other Offers
Reports from Sheep Esports confirm that Isma, the Belgian jungler, has chosen to remain with SK Gaming until November 2025. Despite receiving offers from teams like GIANTX and Karmine Corp, Isma has decided to stay with the German organization where he made his debut in 2024.
Competing against a talented pool of European jungle players, Isma has secured his place in the LEC. While other players like Jankos and Sheo are still undecided about their future, G2’s jungler Yike is exploring options following their exit from Worlds 2024.
SK Gaming Solidifies Jungle and Mid Lane Combination
Isma will be partnering with mid laner Steven “Reeker” Chen under the guidance of new coaching staff led by David “OWN3R” Rodriguez de la Torre and Mauro “Garih” Garih Vidal. OWN3R will be stepping into his first head coaching role with the team.
SK’s lineup is still awaiting confirmation for three more players. Top laner Irrelevant is set to join Team BDS, leading to the need for a replacement. Meanwhile, Rahel and Luon are contracted in the bottom lane until 2025, hinting at their potential continuation with the squad.
As the transfer window approaches, SK Gaming is working on completing their roster for the upcoming season. With a newfound core and strong ambitions, the team is gearing up for success in 2025.
