Room 8, a game developer, has completed the integration of PUGA and Massive Black into the Room 8 Studio brand. This strategic move is designed to strengthen the group’s global presence as they seek to expand their services worldwide.
The integration is expected to streamline processes, promote innovation, and accelerate project delivery, with the goal of making a significant impact in the gaming industry by fostering a community of collaborative expertise.
Julien Proux, the executive vice president of art at Room 8 Group, emphasized that the integration of PUGA, Massive Black, and Room 8 Studio signifies a unified, global force for delivering tailored, complex solutions to their partners. It represents the evolution towards a single, cohesive entity.
Furthermore, the brand integration has led to the restructuring of Room 8 Group’s offerings into several divisions, including Dragons Lake for PC & Console Game Development Solutions, Solid Bash for Mobile Game Development Solutions, Room 8 Studio for Game Art Solutions, Heroic for Trailers & Cinematics Production, and Quality Solutions provided by Room 8 Group.
CEO Anna Kozlova added that this move aims to enhance knowledge sharing, encourage new experiences, and boost collaboration on joint projects, thus improving the company’s game development output.
In addition to the integration with PUGA and Massive Black, Room 8 also partnered with Zebra AI in 2023 to become Zibra AI’s integration partner and gain access to the company’s AI-based solutions.
