Riot Games has partnered with Opera GX for the upcoming League of Legends 2024 World Championship. This global, multi-year partnership will see Opera GX become the official browser partner for the League of Legends esports scene, coinciding with the start of the World Championship on Sept. 25.
Opera GX will play a significant role in Riot’s Co-Streamer Hub, featuring over 75 co-streamer channels for the tournament. Users of Opera GX will have access to enhanced stats, digital drops, and additional navigation features for all Worlds content, providing a fan-friendly and comprehensive viewing experience.
David Mulhall, Riot Games Head of Global Esports Partnerships, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing that Opera GX is a brand built for players, by players. The collaboration aims to enhance the esports fan experience and create a dynamic environment for viewers.
The 2024 League of Legends World Championship will take place from September 25 to November 2 in Europe, with the top 20 LoL teams competing across Berlin, Paris, and London.
