Players of some Resident Evil mobile games now need to connect to the internet to start playing the game.
According to a recent Reddit post, the latest updates for the iOS versions of Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil Village now require an internet connection to launch the app.
While many games on mobile and other platforms require an internet connection, it is important to note that these are premium single-player titles, with prices as high as $39.99. Previously, an internet connection was not required to play these titles.
PocketGamer.biz has reached out to Capcom for a comment on this update.
Conversion to Premium
