With the new capital infusion, Reforged Labs plans to enhance its AI capabilities and refine its creative and performance models to cater to the specific needs of gaming ads.
Specializing in video ads, the company is addressing challenges such as ad fatigue, rising costs, and complex experimentation by providing game studios a more efficient way to create and optimize video ads.
Tackling challengesÂ
During the past few months, Reforged Labs has tested its AI ad platform with a range of partners, including startups and AAA studios, to reduce the time required for ad development and optimization.
Reforged Labs CEO and co-founder, Robert Huynh, emphasizes the importance of player acquisition for game studios and the role marketing plays in this process.
Investors in the seed round include Y Combinator, Epakon Capital, Goodwater Capital, Phoenix Fund, Asymmetry Ventures, as well as angel investors from Niantic, Pocket Gems, and the founders of King and Sky Mavis.
