Razer is set to release the latest Intel, AMD, and Nvidia chips into its Razer Blade family of gaming laptops for 2024. Some of them will also feature an AI boost.
Announced at CES 2024, the Razer Blade gaming laptops will introduce significant technological advancements. The lineup includes the Razer Blade 16, which boasts the world’s first OLED 240Hz 16-inch display, an updated Blade 14, and a sneak peek of the future-forward Blade 18.
Travis Furst, the head of the notebook and accessories division at Razer, stated that “The Razer Blade series epitomizes our dedication to leading through innovation.” He added, “Today, with new innovations in display technology, performance, and AI, the Razer Blade continues to push the boundaries of gaming laptops within our signature compact design.”
Razer Blade 16
The Razer Blade 16 leads the lineup, featuring the world’s first OLED 240Hz 16-inch display, the new Intel Core i9-14900HX processor, and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics. It delivers performance within an anodized aluminum unibody, providing visual clarity, color depth, QHD+ resolution, 0.2ms response time, and DCI-P3 100% color gamut with VESA ClearMR 11000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certifications. The Blade 16 also supports dual mode Mini-LED display options, allowing seamless switching between high-resolution creative work and high-refresh-rate gaming. Additionally, the Blade 16 has a fast mobile processor with 24 cores, enabling overclocking through Razer Synapse for unmatched processing power and 175-watt full TGP for enhanced graphics power. Its advanced cooling system with Razer’s patented vapor chamber technology ensures optimal performance even during intense gaming sessions.
Razer Blade 14
The Blade 14, designed for gamers on the move, is equipped with an all-new AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop Graphics, and a QHD+ 240Hz display. Along with its portable chassis, upgradable DDR5 memory, and cutting-edge connectivity options, it offers up to 10 hours of battery life. The Blade 14 also features AI-accelerated performance with the new AMD Ryzen 9 processor, a 16:10 QHD+ 240Hz display now Calman Verified for improved color accuracy, and supports Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 laptop graphics while maximizing gaming performance and maintaining portability.
Razer Blade 18 sneak peek
Razer teased the Blade 18 as the world’s first 18-inch 4K 165Hz display, coupled with Thunderbolt 5 connectivity.
