Pole to Win has recently acquired Ghostpunch Games, a renowned co-development and porting specialist, for $13 million. Based in Florida, Ghostpunch has collaborated with major partners such as EA, Gearbox Software, Bethesda Game Studios, and 2K. With over 60 employees, the studio has a strong portfolio of titles spanning various platforms including PC, console, mobile, and AR/VR.
Post-acquisition, Pole to Win aims to introduce new AI-based QA automation solutions for its clients.
Key Role Changes
Following the acquisition, Ghostpunch’s executive producer Hugh Falk will lead PTW Fort Lauderdale, while Alejandro Garcia-Tunon, the director of technology, will transition into the role of director of co-development. Rick Daniels, the director of operations, will now serve as the head of sales for art and co-development, and Devon Browne, the animation director, will take on the position of PTW’s senior animation manager.
PTW CEO Deborah Kirkham expressed excitement about the acquisition, highlighting Ghostpunch Games’ exceptional talent and strong reputation in the industry. She emphasized the alignment of Ghostpunch’s commitment to quality with PTW’s mission to deliver outstanding development services globally.
