Baldur’s Gate 3 was arguably the standout game of 2023, but now you can revisit the roots of the series with Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition. And the best part? It’s free for Amazon Prime members.
Amazon has unveiled its Prime Gaming offerings for July, which include Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, the remastered version of the classic 1998 RPG. To claim your free copy, simply log into your account and hit the claim button. The only requirement is that you’ll need to use the Amazon Games launcher instead of a platform like Steam.
While you can still play the original Baldur’s Gate with mods, Enhanced Edition brings modern improvements like a newer engine, cross-platform multiplayer, and an arena mode. It includes the main campaign and the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion, along with three new heroes to augment your party. For those craving even more content, the Siege of Dragonspear DLC is also included.
Additional games joining the Prime Gaming lineup in July are Maneater, Midnight Fight Express, Cat Quest 2, Youtubers Life, and Masterplan Tycoon.
