Similar to the early release of Mauga, Blizzard is giving players the opportunity to experience the latest addition to the Overwatch roster before Season 10 officially begins.
This exclusive trial will be available in the game from March 28 to 31, just in time for the extended weekend. Not only does this trial give players a chance to try out the new character, but it also allows Blizzard to gather valuable feedback and make any necessary adjustments before the new season starts.

Introducing Venture, the Newest Overwatch Hero
During this trial period, players will have the opportunity to test out Venture, the latest DPS hero in Overwatch. This role is one of the most popular in the game, and Venture adds a fresh new dynamic to the DPS lineup.
Venture comes equipped with a variety of unique abilities:
- Burrow – Move underground
- Tectonic Shock – Ultimate ability that sends out a large shockwave
- Drill Dash – Dash forward and push enemies backward
- Explorer’s Resolve (Passive) – Gain a temporary shield when using an ability
- Clobber (Passive) – Increased damage for quick melee attacks
With a seismic charge weapon and innovative abilities, Venture promises an exciting and dynamic gameplay experience for Overwatch fans. They will be fully unlocked with the start of Season 10, but players can get a preview of Venture’s capabilities in the game this week.
