Developer Pixel Perfect Dude today revealed more information about its upcoming game, #Drive Rally. More specifically, it gave fans a look at the gameplay for the title, including the cars and customization options, the racing environments, and the differences between this game and its predecessor, Pixel Perfect Dude’s endless racer, #Drive.
#Drive Rally features 36 cars in 3 different classes, including cars from the previous #Drive title like Das Holzwagen, The Doggo, The Bobond, and new cards like Das Sandsturm and Celestia. Vehicles can be fully customized, and each one comes with a co-driver who navigates for you and also comments on your driving abilities.
The game is also set in the ’90s (unlike its predecessor, which is set in the ’70s and ’80s) and features several ’90s-themed easter eggs. According to Pixel Perfect Dude, the game has several different kinds of driving environments, including German forests and the deserts of the American Southwest. #Drive Rally launches in early access on PC and Mac in the autumn, with a console launch coming in 2025.
