The PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra’s Game Catalog for January 2024 has been announced, with some surprising inclusions and losses. The standout addition is the Resident Evil 2 remake, although an underrated gem, Lego City Undercover, is also worth checking out.
Originally released for the Wii U in 2013 and remastered for other platforms in 2017, Lego City Undercover offers a charming open-world experience based on the official Lego City playsets. While primarily aimed at kids, the game also has references to TV shows and movies that adult players will appreciate, such as The Shawshank Redemption.
If your child enjoys Lego Fortnite, Lego City Undercover can be a compelling alternative. The full list of titles coming to the PS Plus Game Catalog is as follows:
- Lego City Undercover
- Resident Evil 2
- Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
- Hardspace: Shipbreaker
- Just Cause 3
- Session: Skate Sim
- Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
- Surviving the Aftermath
- Rally Cross
- Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace
- Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection

Several titles will also be removed from the service on January 16, including It Takes Two, which won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2021. The full list of games leaving the PS Plus Game Catalog next week is as follows:
