Exciting news for Android users! The highly acclaimed iOS app, Arc Search, is set to launch on Android soon.
Arc Search, developed by the creators of the popular Arc Browser for Mac and Windows, focuses on simple and efficient browsing with a touch of AI. Despite being exclusive to iPhone since its debut in January, the app will soon make its way to Android. In a recent post on Threads, the official Arc account announced the upcoming release of Arc Search for Android, along with a preview video of the app running on an Android device.
While the Google Play Store offers numerous web browsers, Arc Search stands out due to its unique features. I have been using it on my iPhone and it has become my preferred browser. The standout feature is the “Browse for Me” option, where the browser generates a personalized webpage with detailed answers to your queries, including bullet points, related images, and source links. This feature has made finding information quick and hassle-free.
In addition to the unique browsing experience, Arc Search offers a voice search feature and a convenient “Raise to Call Arc” mode for hands-free browsing.
While Arc Search may not have extensive customization options, its efficiency is what sets it apart. As someone who prefers using it on iPhone, I am eagerly awaiting its release on Android.
Although the exact launch date for the Android version remains unknown, the team’s Threads post suggests that it won’t be too long before Android users can enjoy the benefits of Arc Search.
