OG’s Dota 2 squad has been making changes to its roster, including moving Bozhidar “BZM” Bogdanov, the team’s mid player since 2021, to the inactive roster. The Bulgarian player’s shift out of the starting lineup was confirmed on social media on Sunday, Sep. 22.
BZM has been a key member of the OG starting lineup since November 2021, playing a crucial role in the OG 2.0 roster. Despite winning multiple Major titles like ESL One Stockholm 2022 and ESL One Malaysia, BZM and OG did not achieve the same success on the international stage.
Having been with OG for almost three years, BZM is a prominent figure in the current lineup.
His departure comes shortly after OG’s Enzo “Timado” Gianoli left the team.
Following BZM’s departure, OG now has only three members on its starting roster: Adrián “Wisper” Dobles, Matthew “Ari” Walker, and Sébastien “Ceb” Debs. The team is preparing to compete in the DreamLeague Season 24 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade qualifiers, but narrowly missed out on qualifying for PGL Wallachia Season 2 next month.
It is anticipated that a new lineup for OG will be announced before the qualifiers begin next week.
