How to play Strands
To begin every Strands puzzle, your objective is to discover the “theme words” concealed in the letter grid. You can manipulate letters by dragging or tapping to form words; confirm your word by double-tapping the final letter. If your word is correct, the letters will be highlighted in blue and no longer selectable.
Finding non-theme words also helps! For every three non-theme words of at least four letters that you discover, you’ll receive a hint—the letters of one of the theme words will be unveiled, and you’ll need to unscramble it.
Every letter on the grid is essential to spelling out the theme words with no overlap. Each letter is used once and only once.
