Connections is a fascinating puzzle game brought to you by the New York Times. The objective of the game is to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying their connections. Each night at midnight, a new puzzle is generated with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can keep track of your winning streak and compete with friends.
If you find today’s Connections puzzle challenging, we have some tips and hints to help you out. If you’re still stuck, we’ll reveal today’s answers at the end.
How to play Connections
Connections presents you with a grid of 16 words, and your task is to organize these words into four sets of four based on their connections. These connections could be related to video game franchises, book series sequels, shades of red, chain restaurant names, and more.
While some words may appear to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle the grid and rearrange the words to help identify potential connections.
Each group is color-coded, with the yellow group being the easiest to figure out, followed by the green, blue, and purple groups.
Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the four words will be removed from the grid and the connecting theme will be revealed. Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, and you only have four available until the game ends.
