Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Your goal is to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by deciphering their relationships. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compete with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips below. And if you still need help, the answers are provided at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words, and your task is to arrange them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could be related to video game titles, book sequels, colors, or restaurant names.
While some words may seem to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle and rearrange the grid to help visualize the connections better.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Select four words, submit your answer, and if correct, the theme will be revealed while incorrect guesses count as mistakes (you have four chances).
