Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The game challenges players to categorize a group of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying their relationships. Each puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, players can track their winning streak and compete with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. If you still can’t solve it, the answers are provided at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, players are presented with a grid of 16 words and must organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections can range from video game titles to shades of red or chain restaurant names.
While some words may seem to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. Players can shuffle the grid to visualize potential connections more clearly.
Each group is color-coded with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Pick four words and submit them. Correct answers will reveal the theme connecting the words, while incorrect guesses count as mistakes, with only four available before the game ends.
