Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The game challenges you to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by deciphering how the words relate to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight, with each new puzzle varying in difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compare scores with friends.

How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid containing 16 words, and your goal is to organize these words into four sets of four by identifying the connections that link them. These connections could be titles of video game franchises, sequels of book series, shades of red, names of chain restaurants, etc.
While some words may appear to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle and rearrange the grid of words to better visualize potential connections.
Each group is color-coded, with the yellow group being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple.
Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the words will be removed from the grid, revealing the connecting theme. Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, with only four mistakes allowed before the game ends.
