Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Players are challenged to categorize 16 words into four secret groups by identifying how the words relate to each other. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying difficulty levels. Similar to Wordle, players can track their winning streak and compete with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out the tips and hints below. The answers will also be provided at the end if needed.
How to play Connections
In Connections, players will see a grid of 16 words and must organize them into four sets of four by discovering the connections between them. These connections could be related to video game titles, book series, colors, restaurant names, etc.
While some words may seem to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. Players can shuffle and rearrange the words on the grid to better visualize the connections.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple.
Select four words and submit your answer. Correct answers will remove the words from the grid and reveal the connecting theme, while incorrect guesses will count as mistakes. Players have only four mistakes before the game ends.
