Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The game challenges you to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by analyzing their relationships. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying difficulty levels. Similar to Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compare scores with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. And if you still can’t solve it, we’ll provide the answers at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words and your goal is to organize them into sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could be related to video game franchises, book series, colors, restaurant names, etc.
Although some words may seem to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle and rearrange the words to help visualize the connections better.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Select four words and hit Submit. Correct guesses will reveal the connecting theme, while incorrect guesses count as mistakes (you have four available).
