Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. It challenges you to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying how the words relate to each other. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying levels of difficulty, allowing you to track your streak and compete with friends, similar to Wordle.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips below. And if you still can’t solve it, we’ll provide the answers at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words and your goal is to group them into four sets of four based on their connections, such as video game titles, book sequels, or colors. You can rearrange the grid to visualize connections and each group is color-coded for difficulty.
Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the words will be removed, and the theme revealed. Guess wrong, and it counts as a mistake, with only four allowed before the game ends.
