Connections is the newest puzzle game from the New York Times. The objective is to categorize 16 words into four groups by identifying the connections between them. The game resets daily at midnight, offering a new challenge each time. Similar to Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compete with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. If you still can’t solve it, the answers are provided at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words and your goal is to group them into sets of four based on shared connections. These connections could range from video game titles to shades of red. You can rearrange the grid to help visualize the connections.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest and purple the most challenging. Submit your answers after selecting four words. Correct answers reveal the theme while incorrect ones count as mistakes, with only four mistakes allowed.
