Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Put your brain to the test by categorizing a pool of 16 words into four secret groups through unraveling the relationships between them. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Just like Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compete with friends.
If you’re finding today’s Connections puzzle challenging, don’t worry. Check out our helpful tips and hints below. And if you’re still stuck, we’ll reveal today’s answers at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll encounter a grid of 16 words and your goal is to group them into sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections may range from titles of video game franchises to shades of red or names of chain restaurants.
While some words may seem versatile, there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle and rearrange the words to aid in spotting potential connections.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple.
Select four words and click Submit. A correct guess will reveal the connecting theme and remove the words from the grid. Guess incorrectly and it will count as a mistake. You have four mistakes before the game ends.
