Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The objective is to categorize 16 words into four groups by identifying their relationships. Each puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can track your streak and compete with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips below. And if you need the answers, they are provided at the end.
How to play Connections
Connections presents a grid of 16 words for you to organize into four sets by identifying their connections. These sets could be based on video game franchises, book sequels, colors, restaurant names, etc.
If you’re unsure about the themes, you can shuffle and rearrange the grid for better clarity. Each group is color-coded from easiest to hardest.
Select four words and click Submit. Correct guesses reveal the theme, while incorrect guesses count as mistakes. You have four mistakes before the game ends.
