Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. You are challenged to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by unraveling how the words are related. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can keep track of your winning streak and compare scores with friends.

How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words — your goal is to organize these words into four sets of four by identifying the connections that tie them together. These sets could be related to video game franchise titles, book series sequels, shades of red, chain restaurant names, etc.
There may be words that could fit into multiple themes, but only one answer is entirely correct. You can shuffle and rearrange the words on the grid to help visualize the potential connections better.
Each group is color-coded, with the yellow group being the easiest to figure out, followed by green, blue, and purple groups.
Select four words and hit Submit. If you’re right, the words will be removed from the grid, and the connecting theme will be revealed. Guess incorrectly, and it will count as a mistake. You have only four mistakes available before the game ends.
