Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. It challenges players to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by understanding the relationships between the words. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying difficulty levels. Similar to Wordle, players can track their win streaks and compare scores with friends.
If you are struggling to solve today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. If you still can’t solve it, we will reveal today’s answers at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you are presented with a grid of 16 words and your goal is to organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could be related to video game franchises, book series, colors, restaurant names, etc.
While some words may fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. Players can shuffle and rearrange the words to visualize potential connections better.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple groups.
Select four words and hit Submit. If correct, the words will be removed, and the theme connecting them will be revealed. Making an incorrect guess counts as a mistake, with only four mistakes allowed before the game ends.
