Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. It challenges players to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying their relationships. Each puzzle resets at midnight with varying difficulty levels. Like Wordle, players can track their winning streaks and compare scores with friends.

How to play Connections
In Connections, you’re presented with a grid of 16 words. Your goal is to organize these words into four sets of four by identifying the connecting themes. These themes could range from titles of video games to different types of greeting cards.
Though some words may seem fitting for multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. Players can rearrange the grid to visualize potential connections. Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest and purple the hardest.
Select four words and click Submit. Correct answers reveal the theme, while incorrect guesses count as mistakes. Players have only four mistakes before the game ends.
