Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Players must categorize a pool of 16 words into four groups by figuring out their relationships. Each puzzle resets daily at midnight and offers varying levels of difficulty. Like Wordle, players can track their streak and compare scores with friends.
If you’re having trouble with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. And if you still can’t solve it, the answers are provided at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid with 16 words. Your goal is to organize these words into four sets of four by identifying their connections. These sets could be related to video game titles, book series, colors, or other themes.
Some words may fit multiple themes, but only one solution is correct. You can shuffle and rearrange the words to help visualize the connections. Each group is color-coded from easy (yellow) to difficult (purple).
Select four words and submit your answer. Correct guesses reveal the theme, while incorrect ones count as mistakes. Players have a limit of four mistakes before the game ends.
