Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Players are challenged to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying their connections. The game resets daily, offering varying levels of difficulty with each new puzzle. Like Wordle, players can track their winning streak and compare scores with friends.

How to play Connections
In Connections, players are presented with a grid of 16 words and must organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could involve titles of video game franchises, book series sequels, shades of red, names of chain restaurants, and more.
There may be words that could fit into multiple themes, but only one answer is correct. Players can shuffle and rearrange the words on the grid to help visualize the connections better.
Each group is color-coded, with the yellow group being the easiest to figure out, followed by green, blue, and purple groups.
Select four words and hit Submit. If correct, the four words will be removed from the grid, and the connecting theme will be revealed. Guess incorrectly, and it will be counted as a mistake. Players only have four mistakes before the game ends.
