Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Your challenge is to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying how they relate to each other. The puzzles reset daily at midnight, with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compete with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our helpful tips below. And if you still can’t solve it, we’ll provide the answers at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words. Your goal is to organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could involve video game titles, book series, colors, or restaurant names.
Sometimes, words may seem to fit multiple themes, but only one answer is correct. You can shuffle the grid to assist in identifying the connections more easily.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the words will be removed, and the connecting theme will be revealed. Four incorrect guesses end the game.
