Nvidia showcased exciting gaming technology advancements just before Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany.
The latest innovations include enhancements in digital humans and avatar character technology known as Nvidia ACE. This features the company’s first small language model for game characters, the Nvidia Nemotron-4 4B NIM.
These compact language models offer faster responses to AI queries as they are designed to run on devices. Nvidia stated that the new Nemotron-4 4B NIM is already being utilized in the game Mecha Break by Amazing Seasun Games.

Mecha Break’s digital human utilizes Audio2Face-3D NIM for dynamic facial animation, with third-party models from Whisper providing speech recognition running on the device, and Elevenlabs offering realistic voices running in the cloud.

Nvidia also showcased an update to Perfect World Games Legends demo with new AI-powered vision capabilities. They mentioned reaching a milestone of over 600 RTX games and applications, with RTX planned for over 20 new games such as Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, Dragon Age: The Vielguard, Dune: Awakening, and more.
