Nitro Games, a games developer, has entered into an expansion agreement with Digital Extremes for the ongoing development of Warframe Mobile.
The new agreement is valued at €5 million, bringing the total order value from Digital Extremes to approximately €17.5 million.
This agreement builds upon the previous collaborations announced in August 2023 and February 2024, where an additional €3.5 million was secured.
The project is currently underway with expectations to be completed by 2025.
Promising Future Ahead
This new partnership aligns with Nitro Games’ strategy of balancing its IP development with providing services to specific clients.
Collaborating with Digital Extremes allows Nitro Games to support its growth through external projects while enhancing its portfolio.
The extended partnership and additional funding will lead to continuous content updates, performance enhancements, and optimizations to ensure Warframe Mobile runs smoothly on mobile devices.
With over 70 million players on consoles and PC, Warframe has quickly gained popularity on mobile devices with over 368,000 downloads within just three days of its launch.
While Warframe Mobile is currently available on iOS, the Android version is forthcoming.
